  • Sponsor - Interact Club Olympic Heights High School

  • Organized activities for Children of The Haven
  • Visited elderly at area nursing homes for Mother’s Day
  • Received recognition as highest per capita giving club in District 6930 for Foundation giving.
  • Organized and worked on painting of all eight buildings at The Haven
  • Worked on Habitat for Humanity home in Delray Beach
  • Sponsored workdays in conjunction with our Interact Clubs to pack and ship boxes sponsored by The Forgotten Soldiers program
  • Placed “change cans” at Boca Raton retail establishments to raise funds for Children’s Activities
  • Provided funding and participated in distribution of 300 Turkey’s (plus rice and beans) for 300 families certified at 150% below the poverty level in conjunction with Caridad Health Clinic
  • Partnered with Delray Sunrise Club on the Great American Duck Derby
  • Co-Sponsor new Rotary Club – Rotary Club Jupiter Tequesta Sunset.
  • Sponsored Rotary International Gift of Life Child from Trinidad for treatment of congenital heart defect at Jackson Memorial Hospital (Miami)
  • Established Twin Club Relationship with Rotary Club of Niterói Leste, Brazil
  • Sponsored literacy project between children of Twin Club in Brazil and Children in our Rota Kids program at Sandpiper Shores
  • Raised funds for Black River, Jamaica Fishing Village with 100 Dinners for 100 Winners Raffle
  • Forged relationship with Rotary Club of Black River, Jamaica to apply for District & RI Matching Grants
  • Initiated Bicycle Drive for Black River, Jamaica
  • Assisted Boca Raton Fire-Rescue Explorers recoup stolen funds
  • Distributed books and read to children at Princess Margaret Hospital, Freeport, Bahamas
  • Sponsored and hosted booth at Boca Raton Great Chili Cook-off to benefit Children Hope and Horses
  • Sponsored and hosted booth at Best of Boca
  • Sponsored Chiera Foundation fundraiser for American Cancer Society R.O.C.K. Camp
  • Earned Rotary International Presidential Citation
  • Attended District 6990 Foundation Dinner Honoring Rotary International President Jonathan Majiyagbe
  • Sponsored 2 RYLA candidates.  One has been chosen as a RYLA instructor for this year
  • Support Seafarers’ House (Port Everglades) through annual giving, work and visible support of their operation
  •  Held Silent Auction to raise funds for our Children’s activities
  • Worked on Hurricane Relief Project for and through the Rotary Clubs of Grand Cayman.  Provided skid of medical supplies and 50 wheelchairs supplied by Joni & Friends.
